Polyurethane Decorative Profile

A polyurethane decorative profile is a slim, lengthy polyurethane element with a defined cross-section, used to create a line, frame or transition on a surface. It is used to form a horizontal or vertical line in applications such as cornices, borders, bands and panel edges. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or split, and takes paint well. Compared with a plaster profile it travels without breaking and installs faster, and unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture. Because it is mould-cast, the profile cross-section stays identical along every metre and the joints are completed with straight cuts.
