Exterior Window Ornamentation

Exterior window ornamentation is the general name for the polyurethane decorative elements applied around a window. Pieces such as surrounds, arches, crowns and sills frame the window opening and add ornamentation to the facade surface. These elements make the window stand out on the facade. Polyurethane is lightweight and resists moisture, frost and outdoor weather; it does not crack or swell and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Because it is lighter than plaster or stone equivalents, installation is fast and it adds no extra load to the wall. Since it is mold-cast, the ornamental details repeat identically on every piece.
