The P8060 model is a horizontally designed decorative wall and pediment ornament that seamlessly blends classic architectural details with modern material technology. Elegant bow and ribbon motifs on both ends merge with a rich fruit and leaf garland relief in the center, creating a symmetrical and aesthetic composition. It is designed to serve as a crowning focal point in both interior wall molding projects and exterior facade designs.
The product measures 272 mm in height, 863 mm in width, and 57 mm in motif depth. Thanks to this wide and prominent structure, it creates a strong sense of three-dimensional depth on any applied surface. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³), this decorative element offers wood-like durability while remaining exceptionally lightweight. Unlike traditional plaster ornaments, it does not crack or crumble, and unlike wood, it is unaffected by moisture, preventing cracking, warping, rotting, or insect infestation.
Looking at its visual design, the rich decorative details of the classic Baroque and Neoclassical eras stand out. Finely detailed, flowing ribbon ends cascade downwards, while the embossed fruit and leaf figures in the center create a natural play of light and shadow on the surface. This high level of detail brings a touch of classic palace or mansion architecture to any space where it is applied.
With a closed-cell structure and a water absorption rate of less than 1%, the P8060 decorative element is completely resistant to water and moisture. Shipped with a factory-applied white primer, the product's surface is ready for the final coat of paint. Due to paint manufacturers' warranty conditions regarding their own primers, applying an additional coat of primer after installation is optional and left to the customer's preference. The product can be easily painted with water-based or synthetic paints.
During the installation process, Polure Polfix adhesive should be applied to the cleaned surface. Due to the wide structure of the product, mechanical fastening with screws is required until the adhesive cures. Once screw holes and joints are filled with putty and sanded, the painting process can begin. For exterior applications, a UV-resistant topcoat exterior paint must be applied to protect the material from sun damage.
- Thanks to its wide and horizontal design, the P8060 decorative ornament model has a wide range of applications in both interior and exterior spaces
- Indoors, it can be positioned as the central decorative element in wall molding (wainscoting) projects in living rooms, dining rooms, or spacious hallways
- It is ideal for adding an elegant accent to the wall behind a headboard in bedrooms or filling the space above fireplaces
- Additionally, it can be used as a crowning pediment above interior doors and windows
- It can also be applied to the surfaces of classic-style furniture, such as wardrobe doors and consoles, for furniture decoration
- Externally, it can be safely used as a decorative relief (painted with UV-resistant paint) at window pediment joints, above building entrance doors, or along floor moldings
- The application surface must be dry, smooth, and free of dust
- Apply Polure Polfix adhesive in continuous strips to the back of the product and press it onto the designated area
- Due to the product's width and substantial structure, it is mandatory to mechanically secure it to the wall with screws to prevent slipping until the adhesive is fully cured
- Fill screw heads and small gaps at the joints with acrylic or exterior-grade putty
- Once the putty dries, sand with 180-220 grit sandpaper to achieve a smooth finish
- After an optional additional coat of primer, complete the process by applying at least two coats of water-based or synthetic paint
- Cleaning the product is extremely easy; dust accumulated on the surface can be wiped away with a soft, damp cloth
- Thinners, harsh chemicals, or abrasive acidic substances must never be used during cleaning
- For exterior applications, it is recommended to inspect the painted surface every few years to maintain the paint's lifespan and protective qualities
- Minor surface damage caused by impacts or accidents can be easily repaired with putty filler and localized touch-up painting to restore its original appearance
