Exterior Facade Render
Exterior facade rendering is a method for reviewing a building's facade design through three-dimensional visualisation before construction. Polyurethane window surrounds, string courses, window sills, column covers, arch profiles and decorative panels can be modelled in their intended positions on the facade. These products are decorative cladding elements and do not carry structural loads. The cast polyurethane density is 150-220 kg/m³; its light weight compared with plaster, stone, concrete and solid wood supports easier handling and installation on site. The closed-cell material has water absorption below 1%, helping reduce the risk of moisture-related deterioration, cracking and blistering. Water-based or synthetic paint can be applied over the factory primer. The dimensional stability test range is -20 °C / +70 °C. Preparing moulds specifically for each product through 3D scanning and CNC machining helps transfer the profile and ornament details shown in the facade render more accurately into production.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can polyurethane products be shown in an exterior facade render?
Yes. Polyurethane elements such as window surrounds, string courses, window sills, arch profiles and column covers can be added to a three-dimensional facade model.
Can polyurethane exterior facade products be produced after rendering?
Once the product selection and dimensions are confirmed, production can be planned using an existing mould or a product-specific mould. Installation dimensions are assessed according to the technical details of the selected profile.
