Unlike traditional cast columns, its lightweight structure integrates a touch of antiquity into contemporary spaces without adding structural load to the building.

Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane, this shaft boasts a hardness close to wood, thanks to its density of 150-200 kg/m³. This specialized closed-cell structure provides high impact resistance while keeping water absorption below one percent. Consequently, common issues associated with wood and plaster—such as moisture damage, swelling, warping, or rotting—are completely eliminated. While the factory-applied primer prepares the surface for the topcoat, applying an additional primer is optional and left to the customer's discretion, as paint manufacturers typically do not guarantee surfaces painted without their own recommended primers.

As clearly visible in the visuals, the fluted lines running continuously along the shaft feature millimeter-precise symmetry. These vertical channels create an optical illusion that makes ceilings appear taller in spacious areas. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the hollow circular design of the product offers an excellent cladding solution to elegantly conceal existing reinforced concrete or steel structural columns, wiring, and plumbing.

For outdoor applications, painting with a UV-resistant paint is mandatory to protect the product from the damaging effects of sunlight.
