In this design that defines the soul of the space, the white polyurethane fireplace application stands out, creating a striking contrast with the dark anthracite wall surface. The angle of light hitting the embossed details on the fireplace emphasizes the depth and craftsmanship of every curve. Combining the appearance of traditional stonework with modern and lightweight material technology, this application transforms the room's focal point into a fireplace mantel integrated with the television unit. The fire chamber, surrounded by beige marble-textured ceramics, displays a soft transition with white decorative elements, creating a warm home atmosphere.
The polyurethane decorative elements used in the application stand out with their rich motifs. The wide-bodied and carved corbels (P9950) located just below the mantel shelf create a strong column effect that carries the design upwards, while the acanthus leaf motiffed crown (P2832) positioned in the upper center defines the center of the composition. The dentil border (P81143) under the shelf part animates the horizontal line and ensures visual continuity. All these pieces, thanks to their high-density structure, are impact-resistant and provide full harmony with the rest of the space with their paintable surface features.
Polure's specialized precast casting techniques were used in the production process. High-density polyurethane raw material is shaped in precision steel molds to achieve smooth and symmetrical details that are difficult to obtain with plaster or wood. This technique provides architects with great time savings during the assembly phase; products can be quickly fixed to the wall using special adhesives and hidden screwing methods. Thanks to its thermal insulation properties, it preserves its form for many years without deformation around fireplace surrounds supported by correct insulation.
For similar classic living room designs, this combination gives perfect results not only in real fireplaces but also in electric or decorative niche fireplaces. To increase the perception of depth in the space, polyurethane wall molding applications can be added to the sides of the fireplace. If the ceiling height is above 2.80 meters, a more magnificent palace style can be achieved by using vertical panels between the fireplace crown and the ceiling coving. Alternatively, the details of the motifs can be made more prominent with antique gold or leaf applications instead of white.
Bright white decorative elements applied on a dark background maximize spatial contrast by focusing the visual hierarchy on the fireplace. The massive structure of the P9950 corbels creates a vertical axis while balancing the weight of the mantel shelf. The circular forms of the P2832 crown soften the sharp horizontal lines of the shelf, inviting the eye to the center. Choosing polyurethane as a material provides ease of installation and a smooth finish compared to heavy stonework. Lighting from above increases three-dimensional depth by highlighting shadow plays in the carvings.
