Decorative Fireplace Design

A decorative fireplace design is the complete arrangement planned by bringing together polyurethane elements such as the surround, case, columns and crown that make up a fireplace front. It is applied to the wall in lounges and living rooms, usually for electric or purely decorative fireplaces. The polyurethane elements are lightweight and joined with mounting adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack or swell, and are paintable. Being lighter than stone or marble equivalents, the design is set up faster and adds no extra load to the wall. Because the parts are mould-cast, the size and profile match is maintained.
