In classical architecture, wall niches are highly effective for creating depth and establishing a captivating focal point. This featured design showcases a polyurethane fireplace mantel and an arched niche built along a vertical wall axis. The exquisite gold leaf details set against a cream background highlight the symmetry and balance central to classical decor. This architectural arrangement is ideal for maximizing vertical space in spacious living rooms or prestigious settings like hotel lobbies.
At the heart of this design is the P8403 polyurethane fireplace mantel. To construct the elegant arch rising above the fireplace portal, the P1470 casing profile is seamlessly integrated with the P1470D101VIC round arch element. Inside the arch, the ornate vertical motif is created using a symmetrical composition of decorative pieces selected from the P8088, P8088A, P8088B, P8088C, P8088D, P8088DL, and P8088DR ornamentation series.
Defining the lateral boundaries of the niche, column-like structures rise from both sides of the fireplace, utilizing P9003 casing profiles along with P9003A and P9003B complementary accessories. These vertical elements mimic load-bearing columns supporting the arch, adding structural realism to the design. To frame the inner wall panels, the delicate P85002 moulding profile is paired with P85002B corner accessories for elegant transitions.
Thanks to its high-density structure, polyurethane is highly impact-resistant and easy to cut and install. It can be used with electric inserts following the device's safety instructions; with bioethanol units, the frame must not touch flames or hot surfaces, and clearances must follow the manufacturer's instructions. Unlike plaster or wood, polyurethane profiles are resistant to cracking over time, and their ultra-smooth surface perfectly showcases decorative finishes like gold leafing and patina painting.
