In this design where natural light from expansive windows merges with a sophisticated interior lighting scenario, modern and classical elements are harmoniously balanced. The high ceiling structure, defining the primary character of the space, gains depth through stepped ceiling profiles and hidden LED channels. The cool gray textile-textured wall panels create a sharp contrast with white polyurethane details. In this lounge project focused on spaciousness and prestige, the outdoor integration provided by large glass surfaces is supported by the aesthetic transformation of structural columns.
In the layers expanding from the center of the ceiling outward, patterned (P81110) and plain (P81165) coving models known for their high-density structure were preferred. Load-bearing columns have been transformed from mere structural elements into architectural focal points using decorative column capitals (P82015A) and column body moldings (P82015). Thin borders and straight wall moldings used on the wall surfaces frame the anthracite-textured wallpapers, adding a gallery-like discipline and order to the room.
All elements used in the application are paintable and high-impact resistant polyurethane products from Polure's high-tech precast production line. The profile structures, specifically designed for cove lighting, are heat-resistant and feature optimized technical channels for LED strip installation. CNC-precision cut corner joints ensure invisible seams after assembly, offering a flawless finish. These technical advantages promise rapid installation and long-lasting use, unlike traditional methods such as plaster.
To ensure integrity in such large living rooms, selecting large-section cornices scaled to the ceiling height is critical. Keeping the molding frames applied on the columns at the same level as the main wall molding heights creates a visual rhythm. Using 3000K warm LEDs in the lighting highlights the details of the polyurethane products while adding an inviting atmosphere. For those seeking different color alternatives, white profiles can be customized with lacquer paint for a silky matte finish or with antique gold leaf details.
The strongest design choice is the geometric balance between vertical columns and horizontal ceiling tiers. White molding frames around gray textured panels bring visual order while emphasizing ceiling height. Cove lighting expands the perceived volume of the space by distributing light evenly across the ceiling. The smooth polyurethane surface creates a tactile contrast with the textured wallpaper.
