Decorative Column Cap

A decorative column cap is the polyurethane capital element that wraps the top end of a column shaft and gives a relief-profiled upper finish. In decorative column applications it is mounted to create a transition between the shaft and the structure above. The polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and is paintable. Being lighter than stone equivalents, it is easy to install at height and the details are carried without damage.
