Exterior Facade Decor

Exterior facade decor is the general name for the polyurethane decorative elements used on building exteriors, such as window surrounds, cornices, borders, columns and appliques. They are applied around windows and doors, at floor divisions and on facade surfaces to give the surface framing, volume and a shadow line. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly with facade adhesive; it resists moisture, frost and UV exposure, does not crack or swell and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with plaster, stone and wood equivalents it adds no load to the facade, and handling and installation are fast. Polure produces exterior facade decor elements in different models and sizes using moulds, so the motif and section details repeat identically on every piece.
