Inspired by the structural and aesthetic elements of classical architecture, the P9967 polyurethane corbel is an exclusive decorative element designed to create volumetric depth in both interior and exterior spaces. Measuring 6.5 cm in width, 10 cm in depth, and 28 cm in height, this medium-sized bracket maximizes the play of light and shadow on applied surfaces, adding a sophisticated character to facades and walls.
The product is manufactured from high-density polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³). Offering durability and workability comparable to wood, this material is not fragile like plaster, nor does it rot, warp, or suffer from insect infestation when exposed to moisture. Thanks to its fully closed-cell structure, it has a water absorption rate of under 1%, making it highly resistant to harsh outdoor conditions such as rain, frost, and intense sunlight. It perfectly maintains its shape and dimensional stability within a temperature range of -20°C to +80°C.
Looking at the visual details, the top of the product features classic dentil (bead course) motifs, a staple of traditional architecture. Right below this, a finely crafted square lattice panel balances the body. Acanthus leaf reliefs and organically curved botanical motifs flowing towards the bottom of the corbel lend it a sculptural elegance, ensuring a flawless match with classical, neoclassical, or baroque style projects.
The product is shipped factory-primed with a special white surface primer, designed to enhance paint adhesion. However, since paint manufacturers typically do not guarantee their products unless their own brand-specific primers are used, applying an additional primer coat before the final topcoat is entirely optional and left to the user's discretion. Paint durability and application responsibility lie with the user; for exterior applications, using UV-resistant paints is critical to prevent yellowing.
- Thanks to its versatile design, the P9967 decorative support element is widely used in both interior and exterior spaces
- In exterior designs, it is positioned as a visual load-bearing support above building entrance doors, under the corners of window jambs, beneath floor moldings and eaves, and under balcony projections
- In interior decoration, it is used to create an aesthetic frame around fireplaces, add elegant support brackets under decorative wood or glass shelves, and soften transitions at ceiling-to-wall joints
- It is an ideal decorative component for creating a classical atmosphere in hotel lobbies, restaurants, historical mansion restorations, and modern villa projects
- The installation surface must be dry, clean, and free of dust
- Apply Polure Polfix adhesive, which has strong bonding properties, to the back of the corbel
- Once the product is fully positioned against the wall or facade, mechanical fastening with screws or nails is mandatory to prevent slipping during the drying process
- Screw heads and joints should be filled with exterior-grade joint filler
- After the filler dries, sand it smooth with 180-220 grit sandpaper
- Following an optional additional coat of primer, complete the installation with two coats of water-based paint for interiors or UV-resistant paint for exteriors
- Once installation and painting are complete, the product requires virtually no maintenance
- For interior applications, dust can easily be removed with a damp cloth
- For exterior applications, it can be cleaned using non-abrasive, mild detergents or light-pressure water if necessary
- To extend the lifespan of the paint in outdoor settings, it is recommended to inspect the painted surface every few years and touch it up if needed
