The P6050A polyurethane corbel bracket is an exclusive architectural component that adds depth to facade and interior designs with its vertical lines and classic relief details. Measuring 160 mm in width, 155 mm in depth, and 1010 mm in height, it creates a balanced vertical emphasis, particularly in high-ceilinged areas, portal entrances, and wide under-eaves. This special element combines the characteristic details of traditional structures with modern engineering advantages to offer long-lasting aesthetics.
Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³), this product offers wood-like surface durability while remaining lightweight for easy installation. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is below 1%, preventing swelling, cracking, or rotting under harsh outdoor conditions such as moisture, rain, or frost. Retaining its shape for decades, it minimizes maintenance costs.
The visual design features a striking spiral volute motif at the top, followed by cascading acanthus leaf reliefs. Elegant fluted lines along the body merge with circular details and a floral motif at the bottom, presenting an exquisite example of neoclassical style. Thanks to precision mold technology, all patterns feature smooth, sharp lines, ensuring that shadows and details stand out beautifully after painting.
This tall corbel caters to a wide range of applications. On exterior facades, it can be positioned under balconies, roof eaves, or floor moldings as a decorative bracket that gives a load-bearing impression. Indoors, it is preferred as an aesthetic support element around fireplaces, beside wide door arches, or beneath libraries and shelving systems. It can also be integrated with half-column designs to create grand entrance halls.
During installation, Polure Polfix adhesive should be applied to the cleaned surface, followed by mechanical screw fastening. Silicone-based adhesives are not recommended as they may weaken adhesion over time. Once joints and screw holes are filled and sanded, painting can begin. The product is delivered with a factory-applied primer. While this primer prepares the surface for painting, applying an extra coat of primer is optional, depending on paint manufacturers' warranty terms. Unlike plaster alternatives, it carries no risk of breakage, and compared to wood, it is fully moisture-resistant. For exterior use, it must be protected with UV-resistant paint.
- The P6050A model is a tall corbel bracket offering versatile use in both interior and exterior decorations
- On exteriors, it serves as a decorative support under roof eaves of luxury villa projects, building entrance portals, and wide balcony projections
- It can be combined with jamb elements on window sides to act as a lower support for classic window pediments
- Indoors, it is an excellent alternative for framing fireplaces in hotel lobbies, restaurants, and spacious halls, supporting large bookcase sections, or positioning under column capitals in arched corridors
- Thanks to its large dimensions, it fills empty spaces in high-ceilinged rooms and ensures architectural integrity
- For outdoor applications, it must be coated with UV-resistant paint to protect it from the damaging effects of sunlight
- The application surface must be completely free of dust, moisture, and grease
- Apply Polure Polfix adhesive to the back of the corbel and place it on the wall
- To safely support the product's weight and prevent slipping until the adhesive cures, mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory (silicone adhesives must not be used)
- Fill screw heads and joints with exterior-grade putty
- Once dry, sand smooth with 180-220 grit sandpaper
- Although the factory-applied primer prepares the surface, an additional coat of primer can be applied optionally if required by paint brands
- Finally, apply at least two coats of water-based or synthetic paint
- Thanks to its smooth surface, the product requires minimal maintenance
- Indoors, it can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth; avoid abrasive chemicals and stiff brushes
- For exterior applications, the painted surface should be checked once a year, and local paint touch-ups should be applied if necessary
- It is suitable for high-pressure water washing, but sharp tools that could directly damage the surface must be avoided
- In case of physical impacts over time, the damaged area can easily be restored to its original appearance by puttying and sanding again
