The P9946 decorative corbel bracket is designed to create elegant architectural transitions in both interior and exterior spaces. Ideal for roof eaves, balcony overhangs, and interior beam intersections, this corbel seamlessly blends the grandeur of classical architecture with modern building technology.
Crafted from high-density rigid polyurethane, this product measures 175 mm in width, 305 mm in depth, and 387 mm in height. With a density of 150-200 kg/m³, it offers the strength and durability of wood while remaining exceptionally lightweight compared to stone or concrete alternatives. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is below 1%, preventing swelling, rotting, or warping in humid environments. The product reliably maintains its structural integrity in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C.
The visual design features exquisite acanthus leaves inspired by classical antiquity, complemented by elegant volute scrolls at the upper corners. Cylindrical scroll details at the base give the piece a deeply carved, authentic look. Thanks to high-precision molding techniques, the patterns are incredibly sharp and smooth. Unlike plaster, it will not crumble, and it is far more durable than fragile EPS foam alternatives.
On exteriors, it serves beautifully under roof eaves, bay windows, or balcony projections. For interiors, it is the perfect choice to create an elegant supportive look around fireplaces, along wide hallways, or underneath decorative shelving systems.
Installation should be carried out on clean, dry surfaces. Only Polure Polfix polyurethane adhesive must be used, and mechanical fastening with screws is highly recommended. While the factory-applied primer prepares the surface for painting, applying an additional primer coat is optional depending on the paint manufacturer's warranty requirements. For outdoor applications, a UV-resistant paint is mandatory to prevent yellowing over time.
- The P9946 corbel bracket is a highly versatile decorative element with a wide range of applications
- On exteriors, it is used under the eaves of villas, hotels, or residential projects (as a roof corbel) and beneath bay windows and balcony projections to provide an elegant, supportive look
- It is also favored as an aesthetic accent at the upper corners of windows or above entrance doors
- Indoors, it serves as a stylish bracket for fireplace surrounds in classical and neoclassical living rooms, under-beam transitions in hallways, and as support brackets for libraries or decorative wall shelves
- In prestigious commercial spaces like restaurants, hotel lobbies, or offices, it can be combined with wall panels to create a sense of architectural depth
- Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and free of dust
- Apply Polure Polfix adhesive to the back and joint surfaces of the product; do not use silicone-based adhesives under any circumstances
- Due to its solid structure, mechanical fastening using screws is mandatory
- Screw holes and joints should be filled with a high-quality exterior filler and then sanded smooth with 180-220 grit sandpaper
- The factory-primed surface is ready for painting
- However, applying an additional primer coat is optional depending on the paint brand's warranty terms
- Finally, apply at least two coats of paint; using UV-resistant paint is mandatory for outdoor applications
- Cleaning the product is highly practical; it can be easily wiped down with a damp cloth
- Avoid using abrasive chemicals, acidic solvents, or stiff brushes during cleaning
- Painted exterior surfaces can be washed with water
- For outdoor applications, it is recommended to inspect the surface once a year and apply local paint touch-ups if necessary to ensure the paint maintains its UV protection
