This attic bedroom, where sunlight streams through skylights, evokes the feeling of a warm sanctuary where rustic textures meet modern comfort. Earthy tones, cream textiles, and natural wood-look details dominate the space, opening the doors to a serene atmosphere. While the steep slope of the ceiling adds dramatic depth, light-colored wall surfaces balance this intense wood effect, ensuring the room remains airy. The centrally located stone fireplace forms the focal point, bringing the warmth of a winter garden indoors.

In the ceiling decoration, the most decisive element of the design, Polure's high-density polyurethane beam series (wide variations from P1981A to P1981L) was used. These beams emphasize the steep structure of the ceiling, creating an architectural skeleton. Offering a natural log appearance with a real wood texture but a much lighter structure, these profiles provide a rustic look without increasing the static load of the attic. P1981 series elements in different cross-sections offer a seamless transition at ceiling junction points and main carrier lines, reinforcing the feeling of hand-craftsmanship.

The precast casting technique used in the production of polyurethane beams enables each piece to fit together with millimetric precision. Thanks to this technology, structural problems such as cracking, warping, or insect infestation that occur in wood over time are completely eliminated. The polyurethane material, resistant to moisture and temperature changes, maintains its form in areas where temperature differences are experienced intensely, such as attics, offering long-lasting use. The practicality of the installation process allows the space to be transformed in a short time without the need for heavy machinery.

For designers who want to create a similar atmosphere, it is recommended to combine these beams with matte antique oak tones. The herringbone wood parquet used on the floor creates visual continuity by supporting the linear geometry of the ceiling. Using thinner polyurethane borders around the fireplace to frame the stone texture will strengthen the 'country' style in the room. In lighting choices, instead of spots hidden between the beams, pendants and lampshades can be used to highlight the shadow plays on the texture.

Design Details

The ceiling beams emphasizing vertical lines have transformed the roof slope from a disadvantage into a decorative advantage. A rhythmic balance has been established between the herringbone parquet and the V-shaped geometry of the ceiling. The color palette creates a depth that does not tire the eyes by using the contrast of neutral tones with wood warmth. The detail sensitivity offered by polyurethane material has brought traditional carpentry craftsmanship together with modern technology thanks to precast production.
