Featuring a square profile measuring 120 mm in width, 120 mm in height, and 3000 mm in length, its balanced proportions deliver a harmonious look in both compact and spacious areas. Made from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), it offers a wood-like surface hardness while keeping the weight to a minimum. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is below 1%, preventing swelling, cracking, or rotting in humid environments.
The visual design perfectly replicates the natural cracks, knots, and deep grain patterns of centuries-old oak or walnut logs. The product is shipped with a factory-applied white primer. While this primer prepares the surface for painting, applying an additional primer coat is optional and depends on the paint manufacturer's warranty requirements. Its textured surface is highly suitable for water-based or synthetic paints, as well as faux-finishing and distressing techniques.
Its applications are extensive; it is ideal for creating elegant ceiling layouts in living rooms, restaurants, hotel lobbies, chalets, and sunrooms. It can also be safely used outdoors under eaves or on porches. Installation is highly practical on clean, dry surfaces. After cutting with standard saws, Polure Polfix adhesive is applied to the back before positioning on the ceiling. For a secure installation, mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory. Screw heads and joints are filled with a suitable compound, sanded with 180-220 grit sandpaper, and painted for a seamless finish. When used outdoors, UV-resistant paints must be preferred to protect against sunlight degradation.
