The P1981F decorative faux wood beam is specially designed for those looking to bring a rustic, natural ambiance to ceiling and wall designs. Eliminating the drawbacks of real wood logs—such as heavy structural loads, cracking, and high maintenance—this product offers a practical and aesthetic alternative for architectural projects.

Measuring 160 mm in width, 3000 mm in length, and 165 mm in height, this beam provides a perfectly balanced look on medium to large-scale ceilings. It is manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³). Thanks to its closed-cell structure, it offers high resistance to moisture, water, and decay, helping prevent warping or insect infestation common in natural wood.

The deep wood grain, natural knots, and rustic hand-hewn texture on its surface give the product a character indistinguishable from real wood. Delivered with a factory-applied white primer, the surface can easily be painted with water-based or synthetic paints in any wood tone, such as oak, walnut, or mahogany. While the factory primer prepares the surface for painting, applying an additional primer coat prior to installation is optional and left to the user's discretion due to paint manufacturers' specific warranty terms.

It is widely preferred as a ceiling rafter, especially in high-ceilinged living rooms, authentic restaurants, winter gardens, chalets, and hotel lobbies. Indoors, it serves as an elegant cover profile to conceal cables, pipes, or structural imperfections. Outdoors, it can be safely installed under eaves and on veranda ceilings when finished with UV-resistant paint.

Include the product weight and fixing loads when assessing the substrate and supporting structure. During installation, Polure Polfix adhesive should be applied to the cleaned surface, followed by mechanical fastening with screws for safety. Compared to plaster or EPS foam alternatives, it is highly impact-resistant, long-lasting, and easily repairable.
