The P3002 stone-textured decorative polyurethane wall cladding is a premium architectural element designed to effortlessly bring the aesthetic of natural stone to both interior and exterior projects with exceptional durability. Measuring 300 mm in height, 950 mm in width, and 30 mm in depth, this modular panel creates a highly realistic stone wall texture on any surface. Combining the rustic charm of classic stonework with modern manufacturing technology, this panel serves as a striking focal point that transforms spaces and adds depth to architectural designs.
Manufactured from high-strength rigid polyurethane with an optimal density of 150-220 kg/m³, the product offers impact resistance comparable to hardwood while remaining lightweight to prevent adding static load to the building structure. With dimensional stability tested between -20 °C and +70 °C, this material resists dimensional deformation such as expansion, shrinkage, cracking, or warping, even in extreme weather conditions. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption is low, making it suitable and resistant to rot or mold in high-humidity interiors like bathrooms and spas, as well as exterior facades.
Visually replicating the asymmetrical and organic texture of stacked natural slate, this model adds movement to walls with its distinct grout lines and horizontal patterns. The play of shadows, shifting with the angle of light, creates a realistic three-dimensional depth. Delivered with a factory-applied protective primer coat, the panel features flawless detail quality, offering a superior alternative to fragile plasterboard or low-durability foam (EPS) materials. Its high impact resistance ensures long-lasting performance even in high-traffic commercial environments.
Perfect for versatile design scenarios, these stone-effect panels are highly favored in residential spaces for living room TV backdrops, entryway walls, bedroom headboards, or stairwells. In commercial settings like hotel lobbies, restaurants, offices, and storefronts, they are ideal for creating a prestigious atmosphere. Assess water and moisture exposure using the product technical data, surface finish and installation details.
Thanks to their lightweight and resilient structure, installing these polyurethane panels is exceptionally practical; they do not crack or crumble like plaster, nor do they rot or attract pests like wood. They are installed by applying Polure Polfix adhesive to a clean surface, and mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory for secure installation. While the factory-applied primer provides a paint-ready surface, applying an additional primer coat for optimal topcoat adhesion is optional and left to the customer's preference. For outdoor applications, coating the panels with UV-resistant paint is required to prevent yellowing from sunlight exposure.
- P3002 decorative panels are highly versatile, making them ideal for both interior design and exterior architecture
- Indoors, they are perfect for creating rustic backdrops behind living room TV units, highlighting bedroom headboards, or adding depth to entryways and hallways
- In commercial spaces such as offices, hotel lobbies, cafes, and restaurants, they can be used to design prestigious wall claddings that elevate the environment and leave a lasting impression on guests
- Assess water and moisture exposure using the product technical data, surface finish and installation details
- For exterior designs, they can be applied to villa plinths, building entrances, balcony walls, or as decorative facade panels across entire exterior surfaces
- They offer the most practical way to achieve a natural stone look without the heavy static load and high labor costs associated with real stone
- Installation of P3002 wall panels must be carried out on a clean, dry, and flat surface
- Apply Polure Polfix polyurethane adhesive to the back of the panels and press them onto the wall
- Unlike heavy stone cladding, these lightweight panels require mechanical fastening with screws to ensure a secure and long-lasting bond
- Screw heads and joints between panels are filled with exterior acrylic filler, and once dry, sanded smooth with 180-220 grit sandpaper
- An additional primer coat may be applied over the factory primer based on the paint manufacturer's recommendations
- To complete the installation, apply at least two coats of water-based paint for interiors, or UV-resistant exterior paint for outdoor applications
- Maintenance of P3002 panels is exceptionally easy
- Assess water and moisture exposure using the product technical data, surface finish and installation details
- Avoid using harsh abrasive chemicals or solvent-based thinners during cleaning, as they can damage the surface and paint
- For exterior applications, it is recommended to inspect the paint every few years depending on environmental conditions and refresh the UV-protected coat if necessary
- Any minor damage from impacts can easily be filled with acrylic putty, sanded, and spot-painted to restore its original appearance
Can the P3002 wall panel be used on exterior facades?
Yes, thanks to their closed-cell structure, P3002 panels offer moisture resistance, making them safe for exterior use. However, for outdoor applications, they must be coated with UV-resistant exterior paint after installation to protect the material from sun damage.
What are the advantages compared to plaster or natural stone?
Compared to natural stone and plaster panels, they are extremely lightweight and do not add static load to the building. Unlike plaster, they are not fragile, eliminating waste during transport and installation. Being resistant to moisture, water, and rot, they offer long-lasting durability indoors and outdoors. Additionally, installation is much faster, cleaner, and effortless.
Which adhesive should be used for installation?
For installation, the specially formulated Polure Polfix polyurethane adhesive must be used. Silicone or standard adhesives may cause the material to detach from the surface over time. In addition to applying adhesive, mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory for safety and durability.
Can the product be painted directly, or is an additional primer required?
The product is shipped with a factory-applied white industrial primer, providing a paint-ready surface. However, since paint manufacturers do not guarantee applications without their own primers, applying an additional primer coat before the topcoat is optional and left to the customer's discretion.
Will it yellow, crack, or shrink over time?
Made from high-quality rigid polyurethane, the product maintains its dimensional stability and will not crack or shrink within a temperature range of -20 °C / +70 °C. If left unpainted, exposure to sunlight (UV) may cause yellowing over time, which is why coating it with UV-resistant paint is mandatory, especially for outdoor use.
