Polyurethane Decorative Column

A polyurethane decorative column is a polyurethane element, usually made up of a shaft and a capital, used to add a vertical accent to a wall or a void. It is applied on its own or half-embedded into the wall in living rooms, entrances and passage areas. The polyurethane material is lightweight and fixed with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or split, and takes paint well. Compared with a plaster or stone column it travels without breaking and installs faster, and unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture; for this reason it can also be used on facades. Because it is mould-cast, the shaft flutes and capital details are identical on every piece. Polure produces the decorative column in a range of diameters, heights and capital options.
