The P5050C large-scale column capital is a premium decorative element that brings the grandest details of classical architecture to modern structures. Inspired by ancient Greek and Roman designs, this capital is crafted to crown columns in both interior and exterior spaces. Thanks to its majestic dimensions, it instantly adds striking depth and a sense of historical character to any environment.
This monumental piece stands out with its impressive dimensions of 90.5x90.5 cm in width and 69.7 cm in height. Remarkably lightweight compared to traditional stone or plaster alternatives, it is manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³). Its closed-cell structure prevents water and moisture absorption, ensuring it retains its original shape for years without rotting, cracking, or crumbling in outdoor applications.
The visual design features deeply carved acanthus leaves lining the base, paired with elegant spiral volutes (scrolls) flaring outward at the corners. These intricate details are rendered with smooth, sharp lines using precision molding technology. Unlike fragile plaster, its robust, rigid composition offers superior impact resistance during and after installation.
This majestic capital is highly favored for villa entrance portals, hotel lobbies, spacious wedding venues, restaurant facades, and high-ceilinged mansions. It can be paired with half-columns (pilasters) on flat walls or used as an exquisite decorative crown for cladding independent structural columns.
For installation, Polure Polfix adhesive should be applied to the cleaned surface, followed by mechanical fastening with screws. While the factory-applied primer makes the surface ready for painting, using an additional primer to satisfy paint manufacturers' warranties is optional and at the customer's discretion. Water-based or synthetic paints can be used, though UV-resistant paint is mandatory for exterior applications.
Offering a durability close to hardwood, lightweight handling, and outstanding moisture resistance, this polyurethane column capital is a long-lasting investment that adds value to your property. It brings a distinctive touch to your projects with its aesthetic refinement and structural quality.

Can the P5050C column capital be used on exteriors?
Yes, thanks to its closed-cell polyurethane structure, the product is resistant to water and moisture. For exterior installations, Polure Polfix adhesive and mechanical screwing must be used, and a UV-resistant exterior paint must be applied as a topcoat to protect against sunlight.
Which adhesive should I use during installation?
Only Polure Polfix polyurethane adhesive should be used for installation to ensure high strength and proper adhesion. Silicone-based adhesives are not suitable for this product group. Additionally, due to the large size of the product, mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory.
Does the product require an additional primer before installation?
The product is shipped from the factory with a paint-ready primer applied. However, paint manufacturers do not guarantee paint jobs done without their own primers. Therefore, applying an additional primer is optional and entirely up to the customer.
What are its advantages compared to plaster column capitals?
Compared to plaster, the polyurethane column capital is extremely lightweight, which facilitates easy installation and avoids adding extra load to the structure. It is non-fragile, impact-resistant, and will not crack over time. Furthermore, being suitable for humid areas, it offers long-lasting outdoor use with high resistance to rot.
What size columns is the P5050C column capital suitable for?
The product features a large-scale design measuring 90.5x90.5 cm in width and 69.7 cm in height. These monumental dimensions are ideal for wide columns in high-ceilinged interiors, as well as decorative load-bearing style columns on the exteriors of grand villas, hotels, and prestigious public buildings.
