This bedroom, where natural light filters in with soft touches, demonstrates how rustic textures can be harmoniously blended with a minimalist arrangement. The dominant earth and cream tones in the space are balanced by the strong character of the ceiling, creating a peaceful sleeping area. Vertical panel lines on the walls and wide wooden planks on the floor strengthen the room's linear structure, while the central position of the bed offers a symmetrical layout. Dark elements mimicking the raw wood texture of the ceiling create a deep perspective against the white ceiling base, aesthetically filling the room's vertical volume.
The main character of the design is defined by polyurethane beam (+poliuretankiris+) models that perfectly reflect the texture of real oak applied to the ceiling surface. Elements in the series with different forms and details, coded P1981A, P1981B, P1981C, P1981D, P1981E, P1981F, P1981G, P1981H, P1981I, P1981J, P1981K, and P1981L, offer modular combinations according to the ceiling structure of the space. Produced from high-density PU material, these profiles do not add extra load to the structure unlike solid wood and offer a stable structure that does not crack or warp over time. The knot and grain details on the surface of each beam are brought to a realistic appearance through handcrafted painting techniques.
The precast polyurethane production technique preferred in this project ensures that decorative elements are cast in perfect molds at the factory and arrive at the assembly site ready. This technique, which offers a much faster and cleaner application compared to traditional carpentry, provides millimetric precision in ceiling decoration. Thanks to their lightness, these products can be easily fixed to the ceiling using only special adhesives and hidden screwing methods, making it possible to achieve an authentic look without requiring structural reinforcement, especially in renovation projects.
For users who want to create a similar rustic atmosphere, we recommend supporting these ceiling beams with vertical columns or frames on the walls. In terms of lighting selection, using a pendant lamp as seen in the image will make the texture more prominent by creating contrast shadows on the lower surfaces of the beams. For a modern touch, you can create indirect lighting scenarios by adding hidden LED strips between the beams. These models in the Polure collection are ideal for increasing the warmth coefficient of the space not only in bedrooms but also in high-ceilinged living rooms and kitchens.
The dark tone of the horizontal beams on the ceiling provides color continuity with the wooden parquet on the floor, while the white ceiling surface refreshes this heavy mass. Vertical lines in the wall panels intersect perpendicularly with the horizontal direction of the ceiling beams, emphasizing the structural skeleton of the space. Natural daylight coming from a lateral angle reveals the grained texture on the polyurethane material at a macro level, reinforcing the perception of 'reality'. Minimalist furniture selection prevents visual clutter by balancing the decorative density of the ceiling.
