The magnificent atmosphere sought in large-scale invitation areas is masterfully constructed in this project through the contrast of warm cream tones and deep brown wood-textured ceiling panels. The lighting strategy of the space, supported by hidden lights following the circular forms on the ceiling and a central crystal chandelier, highlights the fine details on the polyurethane decorations. The geometric relationship between the floor and the ceiling determines the focal point of the hall, while the symmetrical partitioning on the walls regulates the spatial flow.
The massive centerpiece in the heart of the ceiling (P85008, P85008S, P85008C) strengthens the palace ceiling effect with radial panel sets (P80111, P8088) surrounding it. On the edges, the ceiling height is managed with an aesthetic layering using cornices and moldings (P81165, P5220, P5820) that offer a tiered look. Decorative panels (P82210, P82210A) and crown motifs (P8088A, P8088B) preferred on the wall surfaces lend an aristocratic identity to the space as indispensable elements of classical architecture.
Since all applied products are prepared with high-density polyurethane precast production techniques, even these intensely embroidered pieces could be installed without putting extra load on the building. Thanks to CNC-precision molds, no measurement deviations occurred in repeating motifs; the impact resistance and paintable surface structure of the material offer a long-lasting usage guarantee for this hall where crowded organizations are held. Especially in the turns of the circular curves on the ceiling, the flexible installation advantages of polyurethane were utilized.
In large-scale ballroom designs, surrounding dark-colored panels with light-colored moldings will increase the perception of depth to prevent the ceiling from looking suffocating. In similar projects, a more integrated structure can be created by choosing wider borders (P5520, P5920) for the transitions between the Corinthian columns (P85409) used on the walls and the ceiling. By using soft aging paint techniques instead of gold leaf, classical decoration can be updated with a modern touch.
Design Details
The radial layout on the ceiling balances the centrifugal force of the space, directing gazes to the chandelier. Light-colored motifs on dark panels create a visual hierarchy, preventing decorations from 'disappearing'. The vertical axes of the columns (P85409) balance horizontal width, making the hall feel taller. Light plays make the high-relief details of polyurethane products more prominent with shadow-light balance.
