Blending the serenity of nature with modern comfort, this spacious bedroom elevates high-ceiling architecture to an artistic dimension using polyurethane elements. The grey-toned wall panels and stone-textured fireplace define the room's cool character, while massive ceiling beams break this coldness to add warmth. Natural light entering through wide windows highlights the texture of the beams, enhancing the perception of depth. Soft textiles and modern lighting carry the 'chalet' spirit of the space into a contemporary line.

The main emphasis in the design is provided by Polure's wood-textured polyurethane rafters and beam systems (+poliuretankiris+, +poliuretanmertek+, +poliuretankutuk+). The P1981 series special profile groups (+P1981D+, +P1981G+, +P1981K+, +P1981F+) used on the ceiling have a real oak texture and were installed without adding extra load to the roof structure thanks to their lightweight nature. Decorative accessories used at corner joints (+P1981DK+, +P1981GK+, +P1981DKA+) simulate a flawless wood transition by hiding workmanship details.

The production techniques applied in this project are a result of Polure's high-density precast casting technology. Each beam is pre-cast in special molds at the factory, reflecting the knot and grain details of natural wood to the finest detail. The hollow (U-profile) structure of the polyurethane material allows for the concealment of ceiling installations or cables, and unlike standard wooden beams, it does not crack, dry out, or become infested over time. This provides a great advantage especially in spaces with fireplaces where humidity or temperature changes are frequent.

To achieve a similar look in high and gabled roof areas, the placement of beams should be planned parallel to the 'A-frame' structure. If your ceiling is very high, dark-colored polyurethane beams will pull the ceiling down slightly, creating a warmer feel. In smaller rooms, you can add textural richness without spoiling the spaciousness by using the same products in lighter tones or with white matte paint. For a modern touch, adding recessed spots between the beams or large-volume molecular chandeliers as in the visual will complete the design.

Design Details

The convergence of the polyurethane beams at a 45-degree angle at the peak dramatically emphasizes the vertical volume of the room. The intersection of grey horizontal wall panels with vertical beams establishes a strong geometric balance. The material contrast between the rough texture of the stone fireplace and the soft leather of the headboard creates a luxury chalet aesthetic. Shadows cast by natural daylight under the beams add a three-dimensional layer of depth to the ceiling.
