Designed for those seeking depth and modern character in wall decoration, the P3000D10 wall panel offers innovative architectural solutions for both interior and exterior facades. Bringing flat, ordinary walls to life with a sculptural volume, this product stands out with its minimalist geometry. Unlike traditional heavy building materials, it is highly favored for its easy installation.
Measuring 72 cm in width, 146 cm in height, and boasting a substantial depth of 10 cm, these block panels are manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³). While offering the hardness and durability of wood, they are remarkably lightweight. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, the water absorption rate is below 1%, preventing swelling, rotting, or deterioration even in moisture-prone environments.
The clean, sharp geometric block design creates a striking 3D relief effect on the wall through the interplay of light and shadow. Its layered structure appeals to a wide aesthetic spectrum, from modern office lobbies to luxury residential designs. Delivered from the factory with a premium white primer coating, the surface is fully ready for the final coat of paint.
These thick decorative blocks are ideal for creating a focal point behind TV units, cladding bedroom accent walls, or establishing a prestigious backdrop in hotel lobbies. Due to their complete water and moisture resistance, they can be safely used in wet areas like bathrooms and kitchens. For exterior applications, they serve as striking architectural accents at building entrances and under eaves.
Include the product weight and fixing loads when assessing the substrate and supporting structure. During installation, Polure Polfix adhesive is applied to a clean surface, and the panels are mechanically secured with screws. Joints and screw holes are filled with putty and lightly sanded. Due to paint manufacturers' warranty policies regarding their own priming systems, applying an additional primer before the topcoat is optionally recommended. Polure assumes no liability for paint applications. For outdoor use, UV-resistant paints are mandatory to ensure the material's longevity.
Maintaining its form for decades in both interior spaces and harsh outdoor conditions, this durable cladding panel is a cost-effective and sustainable design investment that requires virtually no long-term maintenance.
- With an extraordinary depth of 10 cm, P3000D10 decorative panels are the perfect choice for creating a striking focal point, especially in large-scale areas
- Indoors, they can be positioned vertically or horizontally behind living room TV units, as bedroom headboard backdrops, or along entryways and hallways
- In commercial spaces such as offices, hotel lobbies, restaurants, and storefronts, they create modern wall designs that elevate brand prestige
- Assess water and moisture exposure using the product technical data, surface finish and installation details
- For exterior applications, they can be utilized as modern relief panels around building entrance doors, between floor moldings, or directly on facade surfaces
- The wall surface to be installed must be dry, clean, and level
- Apply Polure Polfix adhesive in strips to the back of the panel
- Once the panel is pressed onto the wall, mechanical securing with screws is mandatory due to the product's weight and thickness
- Screw heads and joints should be filled with acrylic exterior putty
- Once dry, sand the putty smooth using 180-220 grit sandpaper
- An additional primer coat may optionally be applied to comply with paint manufacturers' warranty conditions
- Finish with a topcoat of water-based or synthetic paint
- For outdoor applications, using UV-resistant paint is mandatory
- Cleaning the product is highly practical; it can be easily wiped down using a duster or a damp cloth
- Avoid using abrasive acids or harsh chemical cleaners that could damage the surface
- The panels offer high resistance to impacts
- Any deep scratches or minor damage that may occur over time can be easily repaired by applying putty, sanding, and spot-painting the affected area
Can polyurethane wall panels be used on exterior facades?
Yes, thanks to its closed-cell structure, the P3000D10 wall panel is highly resistant to water and moisture. It is suitable for exterior applications; however, to protect it from the yellowing effects of sunlight, it must be painted with UV-resistant exterior paints.
Which adhesive should be used for installation, and are screws mandatory?
Only Polure Polfix adhesive should be used for installation; silicone-based adhesives are not recommended. For safety, due to these panels' 10 cm thickness and large dimensions, mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory in addition to the adhesive.
Can the product be used directly without painting, and is a primer required?
The product is shipped from the factory with a protective white primer coating. While it can be used unpainted indoors, painting is mandatory for outdoor applications. Applying an additional primer is optional; since paint manufacturers often require their own priming systems for warranties, the choice is left to the installer.
What are the advantages compared to plaster or wood panels?
Compared to plaster panels, they are much lighter and impact-resistant, meaning they do not add extra load to the building structure. Unlike wood or MDF panels, they are moisture-resistant and will not swell, rot, or attract pests. Additionally, installation is much faster and more practical.
How can damaged polyurethane panels be repaired?
Any surfaces damaged or scratched by impact can easily be filled with standard acrylic wall putty. Once the putty dries, it can be smoothed with 180-220 grit sandpaper and repainted to restore its original appearance.
