The Polure P5050B is an elegant pilaster column plinth base designed to create a structural, load-bearing aesthetic on wall surfaces and column designs. Perfect for flush-mounted or half-profile column installations, this architectural element provides a solid visual foundation for both interior and exterior designs. Adding depth and structural richness to architectural projects, it delivers the timeless look of traditional stonework using modern, high-durability materials.

Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³), this product offers a hardness close to wood while remaining highly resistant to impacts. With a depth of 80 mm, it creates a distinct, elegant projection on the wall, while its 560 mm width and 940 mm height perfectly complement large-scale, grand column shafts. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is below 1%, completely preventing issues like swelling, rotting, or pest infestation in humid environments.

The visual design features sophisticated, nested stepped rectangular molding details on the front face. These geometric lines reflect the classic characteristics of classical and neoclassical architecture, while the flat block surface at the bottom integrates seamlessly with baseboard lines. Extremely lightweight compared to heavy plaster or crack-prone wood alternatives, it adds no extra structural load to the building. This material also contributes to thermal and acoustic insulation, standing out with its long-lasting, repairable nature.

Highly versatile in application, this decorative element is ideal for a wide range of spaces, from hotel lobbies and villa entrances to spacious living rooms and restaurant partitions. It is frequently paired with pilaster column shafts to highlight doorways, accent fireplace surrounds, or create a rhythmic wall layout in long corridors. The product surface comes pre-coated with a factory-applied white industrial primer. While this primer prepares the surface for painting, paint manufacturers often do not guarantee applications done without their own priming systems. Therefore, applying an additional primer coat before the final topcoat is optional and left to the user's preference. The product can be easily painted with water-based or synthetic paints.

For installation, Polure Polfix adhesive should be applied to the cleaned surface, followed by mechanical fastening with screws. Once screw holes and joints are filled with mastic and sanded smooth, the painting process can begin. For outdoor applications, a UV-resistant paint must be used to protect the material from sun damage.
