In bedroom interior design, the feature wall behind the headboard acts as the primary focal point of the space. In this featured project, a layered arched niche concept was designed to introduce depth and volume to an otherwise plain wall surface. Set against a blue-gray background, cream and pastel accents create a distinct three-dimensional effect. Vertical jamb mouldings emphasize the high ceilings, seamlessly merging with the curved arch to establish symmetry and structural order.
The main framing of the arched niche utilizes P14D30 jamb profiles integrated with P14D30D160VI curved arch components. Placed at the apex of the arch, the P7145L center motif reinterprets the traditional architectural keystone using high-density polyurethane. At the top of the side columns, P8055A and P8055B decorative appliqués provide refined visual transitions.
To frame the surrounding wall and organize the side panels, P9135B panels and P85024M border profiles were installed. These profiles create a secondary layer around the niche, defining a clean boundary between wallpapered sections and painted surfaces. Manufactured from high-density polyurethane, these profiles resist cracking, moisture, and impact far better than traditional plaster or wood. Their smooth surface finish enables seamless application of gold leaf or lacquer paint finishes.
Polure polyurethane decoration products significantly reduce installation time on job sites due to their lightweight structure and easy mounting. This arched moulding combination behind the bed can be customized with various color schemes. Suitable for both residential homes and luxury hotel suites, this approach offers a durable and high-end wall cladding solution.
The layered arch niche behind the headboard serves as the key architectural element adding depth to the bedroom. A color contrast of blue-gray and cream highlights the three-dimensional detail of the polyurethane relief motifs. Combining the P14D30D160VI curved arch with P14D30 jambs creates a traditional arched niche with simple installation. The P7145L keystone motif and P8055A/B vertical appliqués bring classic rhythm to the column lines. P9135B wall panels outline a clean transition between wallpaper and painted surfaces. Thanks to lightweight and durable polyurethane construction, this full-height niche cladding can be applied safely.
