This interior design seamlessly blends classical architectural elements with modern design principles, highlighting depth and symmetry on the wall surfaces. A dark anthracite background creates a striking contrast that beautifully accentuates the intricate details of the cream-toned polyurethane components. At the heart of the space, a circular arched niche is framed by vertically aligned, rich relief ornaments and fluted columns rising on either side, creating a monumental wall panel composition.
The fluted pilaster columns flanking the design are constructed using the P5030 shaft, P5030B base, and Corinthian-style P5030CP column capitals. The vertical fluting of these columns visually elevates the ceiling height while bringing structural order to the overall flow of the room. To form the central circular niche, the P1456D160VIB round arch was utilized, supported by P1456 and P9001 casing profiles to create a distinct, layered projection from the wall surface.
Positioned vertically within the niche, the P8088A and P8088B decorative ornaments reflect the fine details of traditional carving, adding an artistic dynamism to the wall. These embellishments are neatly enclosed within inner frames created with P85002 and P85008 wall moldings, preserving the integrity of the composition. At the top, the P83091 cornice molding softens the transition between the wall and the ceiling, flawlessly completing the architectural design.
High-density polyurethane products manufactured by Polure offer ease of installation, impact resistance, and a flawless surface finish compared to traditional plaster or wood. For interior designers seeking a prestigious look and long-lasting durability in their projects, this application serves as an excellent reference demonstrating the detail precision and versatility of polyurethane.
- The fluted pilaster columns with Corinthian capitals (P5030) used in the project bring the monumental vertical order of classical Greek and Roman architecture to the space.
- The central circular arched niche (P1456D160VIB) defines the focal point of the symmetrical composition while visually enhancing the ceiling height.
- The anthracite background color beautifully highlights all the fine relief details of the cream-toned polyurethane ornaments (P8088A/B).
- Strategic placement of wall sconces enhances the sense of three-dimensionality by creating a play of light and shadow on the fluted column surfaces and arch curves.
- Compared to traditional plasterwork, the lightweight nature and smooth surface quality of polyurethane provide ease of installation and long-lasting aesthetics.
