This dining room, where light filters through wide windows to dance on herringbone floors, proves how natural textures can be blended with modern elegance. The core element defining the space is the coffered ceiling system and wood-look beams. Polure's high-density polyurethane beam (polyuretankiris) series was preferred for the ceiling decorations, which are the main focus of the design. Different variations of the P1981 series (P1981A, P1981B, P1981C, P1981D, P1981E, P1981F, P1981G, P1981H, P1981I, P1981J, P1981K, P1981L) were optimized according to the ceiling dimensions to create a flawless coffered ceiling look. These profiles, which do not add extra load to the ceiling thanks to their lightweight structure, provide visual richness by perfectly reflecting the natural knots and fiber texture of wood while ensuring ease of installation.
Prepared with polyurethane precast production techniques, these elements have millimetric precision as they are cast in special molds in a factory environment. The PU material, which is unaffected by humidity and does not crack over time, promises long-lasting use, especially in large-volume dining rooms. The beams used in this project were brought to a natural oak color with a special painting technique and integrated with the organic texture of the space. During the application phase, joints were made completely invisible using polyurethane adhesives and hidden screwing methods.
