The Polure P7150 is an oval-shaped ceiling medallion that seamlessly blends the rich details of classical architecture with modern manufacturing technology for ceiling and wall decorations. Measuring 535 mm in width, 773 mm in length, and 42 mm in thickness, this piece creates a perfectly balanced focal point in medium to large-scale spaces. Reflecting the opulent style of traditional palace ceilings, it is highly favored for crowning chandelier bases in spacious living rooms, hotel lobbies, or luxury restaurant ceilings. Thanks to its elegant oval form, it also serves as an excellent alternative to enhance the sense of depth in narrow, elongated ceiling areas such as hallways.
Crafted from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³), this medallion offers a surface hardness comparable to wood without adding unnecessary weight to the structure. Extremely lightweight compared to fragile, crumbling plaster alternatives, this ceiling medallion ensures easy installation and minimizes the static load on your ceiling. Its closed-cell structure keeps moisture absorption below one percent, preventing swelling, rotting, or deformation even in highly humid environments.
The visual design features intricate leaf motifs, asymmetrical curves, and embossed details surrounding a centrally positioned, rope-patterned oval frame. Thanks to advanced molding techniques, even the finest relief lines on the surface are crisply defined. These sharp details create a sense of depth that is impossible to achieve with cheap EPS foam materials, adding a rich, dimensional look to your ceiling through the play of light and shadow.
The P7150 model is shipped from our production facility with a white factory primer applied. While this primer prepares the surface for painting, paint manufacturers do not guarantee applications made without their own primers; therefore, applying an additional primer coat is optional and at the user's discretion. Polure does not accept liability for paint performance. The product can be easily painted with water-based or synthetic paints. For exterior applications, UV-resistant paints must be used to protect against sunlight degradation.
Suitable for use as a decorative medallion on interior ceilings, exterior eaves, or at the center of large wall panels, this product stands out for its long-lasting durability. Its impact-resistant rigid structure will not crack, expand, or shrink over time. Highly workable, it can be easily sanded, puttied, and cut, offering great convenience to installers. It provides a much more economical and sustainable decoration alternative compared to traditional wood carving, adding significant value to your spaces.
- Thanks to its versatile oval design, the P7150 ceiling medallion is widely used in both interior and sheltered exterior spaces
- Indoors, its most popular application is highlighting elegant chandeliers at the center of spacious living rooms, dining areas, and executive offices
- Its oval shape creates an aesthetic guiding effect, particularly in hallways, entryways, and bedrooms with rectangular or narrow ceiling layouts
- Beyond ceilings, it can also be installed as a decorative wall medallion or rosette centered within large wall paneling designs
- In exterior architecture, it serves as a classic ornamental element above entrance doors, under eaves, or on wide surfaces where story moldings meet
- It is also frequently chosen to complement ceiling designs in luxury hotel lobbies, historical restoration projects, and classically decorated cafes
- Installation of the P7150 model should be carried out on clean, dry, and smooth surfaces
- First, measure and mark the center point on the ceiling or wall where the medallion will be placed
- Apply Polure Polfix adhesive to the back of the product and press it onto the surface
- Although lightweight and non-load-bearing, mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory to ensure safety and a flush fit
- Screw heads and joints should be filled with a high-quality putty, then sanded smooth using 180-220 grit sandpaper
- Finally, depending on user preference, an optional primer coat can be applied before finishing with two coats of water-based or synthetic paint
- Thanks to its rigid polyurethane structure, maintaining the P7150 model is exceptionally easy
- Highly moisture-resistant, it can be gently wiped clean of dust and dirt using a soft, slightly damp cloth
- Avoid using abrasive chemicals, acidic solvents, or stiff brushes during cleaning, as these can damage the surface texture
- Indoors, it retains its pristine form for decades without requiring any extra maintenance
- For exterior applications, depending on paint wear from sunlight and weather exposure, we recommend periodic paint checks and recoating with UV-resistant paint when necessary
