The P7148 ceiling medallion is an oval-shaped architectural detail designed to transform chandelier centers into aesthetic focal points in interior spaces. While adding movement to the ordinary flat look of ceilings, it elevates the presence of pendant lighting and chandeliers. Combining classic architectural details with modern production technology, this model enhances ceiling design across a wide range of spaces, from spacious living rooms to formal reception halls.
Measuring 447 mm in width, 680 mm in length, and 44 mm in thickness, the product offers an ideal geometry particularly for rectangular or elongated rooms. The high-density rigid polyurethane raw material (150-200 kg/m³) used in its production provides the strength of wood while remaining lightweight enough to simplify ceiling installation. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, it is completely moisture-resistant; it will not shrink, crack, expand, or sag, even in high-humidity areas like bathrooms or kitchens.
A symmetrical oval layout dominates the design details. At the center of the medallion, there is a circular opening for lighting cables. Surrounding this opening, finely curved acanthus leaves, stylized floral reliefs, and wavy scroll motifs offer a rich visual texture. The beaded border defining the edges merges with leaf flourishes (palmettes) expanding towards the outer frame, bringing the elegance of classical palace ceilings to your space.
The P7148 model can be safely used on interior ceilings as well as semi-open veranda and patio ceilings exposed to humid weather conditions. Unlike plaster alternatives, it carries no risk of breakage and does not overload the ceiling during installation. It is not soft or fragile like styrofoam (EPS) foam products, featuring a hard surface structure highly resistant to impacts.
The surface of the product comes ready for painting with a factory-applied white primer coat. This primer layer facilitates the adhesion of the topcoat; however, since paint manufacturers do not guarantee applications made without their own primer products, additional priming is entirely at the customer's discretion. Easily colored with water-based or synthetic paints, the product must be coated with UV-resistant paint for outdoor use to prevent yellowing.
During installation, the ceiling surface to be applied must be clean and dry. After applying Polure Polfix adhesive to the back surface and aligning the product on the ceiling, it must be mechanically secured with screws for safety. Once the screw heads and joints are filled with putty and smoothed with 180-220 grit sandpaper, the process is completed with an optional primer and two coats of topcoat paint.
