Polyurethane ceiling fixture and recessed light housings are high-density decorative architectural elements used to embed or integrate lighting components into ceilings with sculptural forms in modern interior projects. Creating smooth, conical, or funnel-shaped circular recesses on ceiling surfaces, these architectural profiles soften light emitted by spotlights and fixtures, diffusing glare-free illumination throughout the space. Preferred in commercial showrooms, hotel lobbies, and residential projects, these elements deliver a much smoother, seamless surface finish compared to traditional plaster moldings.
Manufactured from high-density polyurethane, fixture housing models P81376, PA501, and PA502 offer superior resistance against impacts, pressure, and physical deformation thanks to their 180–220 kg/m³ density structure. With a water absorption rate under 0.5%, these products retain their shape without cracking or flaking, even in bathrooms or high-humidity commercial environments. Featuring a thermal resistance ranging from -30°C to +90°C, these polyurethane profiles ensure full safety against heat generated by bulbs and LED fixtures. The lightweight nature of the material accelerates installation while imposing no extra load on ceiling support structures.
During installation, polyurethane fixture housings are secured to the ceiling surface using polyurethane-based adhesives, and joints are filled with specialized polyurethane putty before sanding. Using fine 180 to 240 grit sandpaper achieves a seamless, monolithic ceiling texture. Once surface preparation is complete, the profiles can easily be painted with any water-based or synthetic interior paint. After a drying time of approximately 24 hours, lighting fixtures are installed, yielding an appearance fully integrated into the ceiling.
In modern interior design, ceilings define the volumetric perception of a space. Polyurethane recessed lighting and fixture housings create organic ceiling forms that ensure homogeneous light distribution while eliminating harsh glare angles. In showrooms and display areas, they allow precise beam angles to accurately reflect the colors and textures of displayed products. The broad model range in the Polure collection enables architects and interior designers to create original, technically flawless ceiling concepts.
Funnel-shaped polyurethane fixture housings evenly distributed across the ceiling surface transform a flat ceiling area into a three-dimensional architectural feature. Combining P81376, PA501, and PA502 profiles in varying sizes generates a dynamic rhythm and sense of depth within the ceiling volume. Concealing the light sources minimizes glare and reflections, allowing displayed products in the showroom to stand out effortlessly. Integrated with neutral and cream-toned flooring, the ceiling design enhances the perception of spatial openness. The flexible installation advantages of polyurethane material enable seamless application of complex circular geometries on ceiling surfaces.
