Offering an innovative approach to interior lighting, the PA501 modern ceiling fixture is a custom design that seamlessly blends ceiling decoration with functionality. While its square outer frame defines sharp boundaries, the smooth, circular recess at its center diffuses light softly. It is the perfect alternative for architects and homeowners looking to break away from ordinary ceiling lighting and add a modern, minimalist touch to their living spaces.
The product is manufactured from high-quality rigid polyurethane with a density of 150-220 kg/m³. It features outer dimensions of 440x440 mm and a depth of 160 mm. This depth allows the integrated lighting elements to create a glare-free, homogeneous indirect lighting effect. Compared to plaster or concrete alternatives, its extremely lightweight structure puts only a limited load on the ceiling construction, maximizing installation safety.
The amorphous and fluid transitions highlighted in the design details create a play of shadows on the ceiling surface, adding depth to the space. Its smooth surface structure comes factory-primed and ready for painting. High resistance to water and moisture, combined with a water absorption rate of less than 1% due to its closed-cell structure, prevents issues like yellowing, sagging, or cracking in the long run.
Designed exclusively for indoor use, this fixture is perfect for any space requiring elegant ceiling designs, such as modern living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, hotel lobbies, luxury restaurants, and store displays. It integrates seamlessly with suspended ceiling systems, playing a key role in recessed lighting projects.
During installation, we recommend using Polure Polfix adhesive and mechanically securing the fixture with screws. Although the factory-applied primer prepares the surface for the topcoat, an additional primer coat can be applied in line with paint manufacturers' warranty terms. It can be easily painted with water-based or synthetic paints to match your decor.
- The PA501 indirect lighting fixture is designed exclusively for interior ceiling decorations
- In modern residential projects, it is preferred to create an elegant atmosphere, especially at the central lighting points of living rooms or above headboards in bedrooms
- In hotel lobbies, reception ceilings, art galleries, and concept cafes, multiple units can be installed side-by-side or in a grid pattern to create modern ceiling panels
- Assess water and moisture exposure using the product technical data, surface finish and installation details
- The ceiling surface to be applied must be dry, clean, and free of dust
- Apply Polure Polfix adhesive to the rear joint edges of the product and align it with the ceiling
- For a secure installation, mechanical fastening using screws is mandatory
- After covering the screw heads and joints with a suitable filler, smooth the surface with 180-220 grit sandpaper
- Following an optional primer application based on the paint manufacturer's recommendation, complete the installation by applying at least two coats of water-based or synthetic paint
- Thanks to its smooth and rigid surface, dust accumulation is extremely low
- A dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth is sufficient for cleaning
- Abrasive chemicals, acidic cleaners, or harsh sponges that could damage the surface texture and paint must be strictly avoided
- If a change in decor is desired over the years, it can be easily repainted in any color after a light sanding
Can this product be used on exteriors or outdoors?
No, the PA501 ceiling fixture is designed for indoor use only. It is not recommended for exterior applications where it would be exposed to direct sunlight (UV) and outdoor weather conditions.
Which lighting systems is it compatible with?
The fixture's 16 cm deep central recess is highly suitable for installing standard LED spotlights, LED strip lights, or small decorative chandeliers.
Which adhesive should I use during installation?
For a secure and long-lasting bond, Polure Polfix adhesive must be used during installation, followed by mechanical fastening with screws. Silicone-based adhesives should not be used.
Can the product be used directly without painting?
The product is shipped from the factory with a white technical primer coat. However, to ensure a seamless appearance, hide installation points, and guarantee long-lasting use, painting after installation is highly recommended.
What are its advantages compared to plaster fixtures?
It is much lighter, does not put load on the ceiling, and is easy to install. Unlike plaster, it does not break upon impact or crumble over time due to moisture. With a water absorption rate of less than 1%, it is highly resistant to humidity.
