Decorative Capital

A decorative capital is a polyurethane ornamental element mounted on the top end of a column or half-column, joining the column to the ceiling. In classical architecture it acts as a column capital and is used in living room, entrance and column applications. The polyurethane material is lightweight and fixes to the column end and the ceiling with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell, or warp, and can be painted. Being far lighter than a stone or plaster capital, it is easily applied even at high mounting points. As it is mould-cast, the ornament details repeat exactly on every piece.
