The P83006I decorative column is a functional architectural element that brings classic Roman style—one of the most distinguished examples of traditional architecture—into modern living spaces. With a base width of 350x350 mm and a height of 1070 mm, it serves as an ideal pedestal, room divider, or decorative accent. Architects frequently use this medium-sized column in narrow hallways or spacious living rooms to visually balance ceiling heights. Suitable for both interior and exterior designs, it adds depth and character wherever it is installed.

Crafted from high-density rigid polyurethane (rigid PU) with a density of 150-200 kg/m³, this column offers a surface hardness comparable to wood. While its high-density structure provides excellent impact resistance, the lightweight nature of the material ensures easy installation without adding structural loads to buildings. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, it does not absorb moisture or water. Unlike traditional plaster or wood, it retains its shape for years without rotting, swelling, or cracking, maintaining dimensional stability in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C.

The visual design features spiral fluted grooves along the shaft, giving the column a dynamic sense of movement. The elegant Ionic capital at the top and the circular base at the bottom perfectly capture classical antique aesthetics. The product is shipped with a factory-applied white primer, which helps the final topcoat adhere smoothly. However, due to varying warranty conditions of paint manufacturers regarding their own primers, applying an additional primer coat is entirely at the user's discretion. This versatile polyurethane element is perfect for hotel lobbies, restaurant entrances, villa doorways, terraces, or as an indoor room divider. It can be topped with a bust, planter, or lighting fixture to create an elegant display stand. It also serves as an aesthetic focal point in garden landscaping, along pathways, or next to reception desks in classically styled offices. For outdoor applications, it must be painted with a UV-resistant exterior paint to protect it from sunlight degradation.

During installation, after positioning the column on a clean, dry surface, only Polure Polfix adhesive should be used for a strong bond; silicone-based adhesives are not suitable. Mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory for a secure installation. Once the screw heads and joints are filled with a suitable putty and sanded, a flawless finish can be achieved with an optional primer and two coats of paint.
