Polyurethane wedding venue decoration uses lightweight, paintable, moulded decorative elements to bring classical architectural lines to ceilings and walls. In the venue shown, rectangular ceiling frames, curved transition mouldings, central ceiling roses and gold-finished ornamental pieces are combined within a single composition. Crystal chandeliers are positioned at the centres of the roses, while recessed lighting reinforces the rhythm of the framed surfaces. Cream-coloured floors and walls make the gold details stand out while preserving the venue's spacious perspective.
In wedding venue design, polyurethane cornice and ceiling coving can create a continuous transition where the walls meet the ceiling. The curved ceiling sections shown are combined with straight frame mouldings to give the large volume a more measured appearance. Decorative wall panels, pilaster-style details and upper-wall ornamentation create an orderly architectural backdrop behind the table arrangement. Ceiling roses can also be used as independent focal elements around chandeliers; their size should be selected in relation to the diameter of the lighting fixture and the scale of the ceiling frame.
Polyurethane decoration products are made from high-density cast PU, with a density of 150-220 kg/m³. Their closed-cell structure keeps water absorption below 1%, making surface maintenance easier in decorative applications. The products have been tested for dimensional stability between -20 °C and +70 °C. Factory-primed pieces can be adapted to the venue's colour palette with water-based or synthetic paints. Polyurethane elements are decorative and do not carry structural loads; they are applied as a covering over load-bearing surfaces.
Before installation, the ceiling axes, chandelier centres, ventilation grilles and vertical alignment of the wall panels should be planned together. Polyurethane mounting adhesive is used to install polyurethane mouldings and ceiling roses; wide or heavy pieces can receive additional mechanical support with screws and plugs where necessary, while silicone is not used. The classic wedding venue approach shown can be adapted for hotel ballrooms, event spaces, villa entrance halls and reception areas with high ceilings. Polure manufactures its moulds and products in-house, allowing different size and motif requirements to be assessed according to each project's details.
Design Details
The ceiling arrangement shown divides the spacious venue into sections by combining curved surfaces with rectangular frames. Each chandelier forms a separate lighting focal point planned together with the ceiling rose around it. Slim gold-coloured mouldings define the frame boundaries and raised ornamentation across the cream surfaces. The vertical pilasters in the wall panels align with the ceiling lines, extending the venue's perspective down to the floor. Positioning the ventilation grilles within decorative frames helps integrate technical elements into the overall composition. This approach shows that polyurethane mouldings and ceiling roses can be treated not only as decorative details, but also as part of the lighting and spatial axis plan.
