In this commercial retail environment designed for high-end jewelry and watch sales, recessed circular and oval ceiling profiles focus light directly onto display areas. The organic ceiling recesses prevent direct glare, directing customer focus toward the precious items on display.
The high-density polyurethane material (180-200 kg/m³) provides outstanding resistance against impacts and structural deformation. In this project, the P81376 cove light profile along with PA501 and PA502 ceiling fixture components were precisely installed into custom ceiling niches. Joints were sanded with 200-grit sandpaper to achieve a completely smooth surface finish.
Engineered to resist temperature variations, these polyurethane profiles maintain structural stability within an operating range of -20°C to +80°C, remaining unaffected by the localized heat generated by LED fixtures. The correct Color Rendering Index (CRI) essential for jewelry displays is supported by the precise reflection angles of the fixtures. Combined with gold frame accents, wooden furniture details, and beige wall paneling, these polyurethane ceiling elements form a cohesive architectural language.
Featuring a water absorption rate of less than 1%, these rigid polyurethane profiles prevent surface yellowing, cracking, or sagging over time. Post-installation, the P81376, PA501, and PA502 profiles can be painted in any color to blend seamlessly into the ceiling's color scheme. This provides a long-lasting architectural solution for contractors and designers seeking to integrate lighting directly into modern commercial and residential ceilings.
