The featured space presents a timeless atmosphere by combining the simplicity of a modern white ceiling with the natural character of rustic wood textures. In this guest room, designed with soft lighting and clean wall lines, the ceiling elements have become the main factor defining the space's architectural identity. The wide-angle light distribution enhances the sense of depth by making the texture of the polyurethane elements on the ceiling surface more prominent, instilling an inviting, warm cottage spirit into the room.
The polyurethane log (P1981C) and rafter (P1981B) models preferred in the application were produced using molds taken from real wood forms. Thanks to their high-density structure, these impact-resistant products create a visual rhythm with their parallel lines extending across the ceiling. In particular, polyurethane beam applications fill the sense of emptiness in wide-span ceilings, bringing the scale of the space to a more human and comfortable level. The knot and grain details on the products transform the imperfections of natural wood into aesthetic advantages.
The products used in this project were shaped using precast techniques on Polure's advanced production lines. These lightweight decorative beams, prepared in a factory environment, do not place a static load on the structure during installation and offer an ideal solution for hiding cables and plumbing pipes in the ceiling void. Thanks to CNC-supported precision cutting, a perfect finish with zero errors was achieved at the points where the beams meet the wall, making the application speed 70% more efficient compared to plaster or real wood.
For those who want to create a similar rustic texture, this ceiling design fits perfectly with country or loft-style interiors. If your ceiling height is above 2.80 meters, you can create a main carrier effect with thicker polyurethane log models and achieve a 'grid ceiling' look by placing thin rafters in between. Dark walnut or aged oak color options will create a contrast with light-colored wall paints, making the ceiling stand out like a work of art.
