This modern rustic living space, where natural light dancing on textured ceiling surfaces filters through large windows, opens the doors to a peaceful atmosphere. Soft white walls and natural-toned textiles have been strategically chosen to balance the strong architectural character of the ceiling. In the open-plan layout, the transition between the kitchen and the living area has been made fluid by the guidance of the structural elements on the ceiling. This design offers a timeless aesthetic by blending the comfort of urban life with the warmth of rural architecture.

The polyurethane beam (+poliuretankiris+) and rafter (+poliuretanmertek+) systems, which form the focal point of the ceiling, aesthetically fill the vertical volume of the space. The side connection elements (+P1981E+, +P1981K+, +P1981F+) that complement the main body beams used in the design perfectly imitate the appearance of real wood construction. The polyurethane log (+poliuretankutuk+) application located in the middle of the ceiling adds structural confidence and character to the room by providing a supporting column effect. Each piece gives the space an organic depth with its texture that gives the natural grain structure of wood and a sense of lived-in experience.

The polyurethane precast production technique preferred in this application ensured that each beam was cast in the factory with millimetric precision and assembled quickly on site. Thanks to Polure's high-density formula, even these massive beams are surprisingly lightweight and do not impose an additional static load on the structure. Thanks to its water and moisture-resistant structure, it offers long-lasting use not only in living rooms but also in areas such as verandas or kitchens. These systems, which do not require maintenance after installation, do not carry the negative characteristics of wood such as cracking or bending while preserving the real woody texture.

If you want to bring this style of look to your own home, you can choose thicker and darker-toned beams if your ceiling height is above 2.80 meters. In lower ceilings, you can maintain spaciousness by using thin rafters. For a modern touch, painting the spaces between the beams in white or light gray tones will highlight the wood texture even more. Regarding lighting, linear LED systems hidden on or next to the beams will highlight the quality of the texture by creating a dramatic and warm beam of light in the evening hours.

Design Details

The balance of horizontal and vertical lines in the space is achieved thanks to the geometric harmony of the ceiling beams with the furniture legs. While the white ceiling panels maintain spaciousness by lightening the weight of the wooden beams, the contrast between leather and textile textures increases visual richness. The placement of the beams directs the perspective towards the windows, establishing a seamless connection between the interior and the exterior view. The play of shadows of the light on the deep grain structure of the beams proves the success of the material's imitation.
