Pedestal

A pedestal is a polyurethane decorative element that serves as the base on which columns, vases, sculptures or decorative items are placed. It forms a base that raises the body where a column meets the floor and makes the transition look orderly; it can also be used on its own as a stand for a vase or object. It is usually shaped with stepped moulding profiles. It is mould-cast from polyurethane; it is light and applied to the floor and the column body with mounting adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. Being much lighter than stone and plaster equivalents makes it easy to carry and install. Mould production ensures the moulding details come out identically in every piece. Polure produces the pedestal in different dimensions together with matching column shafts and capitals.
