Classic Ceiling Medallion

A classic ceiling medallion is the round or oval, classically ornamented polyurethane decorative element placed at the centre of the ceiling. It is mostly applied so as to surround a chandelier or lighting fixture; it emphasizes the central section of the ceiling. It is used indoors as a centre ornament on the ceilings of living rooms, entrances and dining areas. The polyurethane material is light and adheres to the ceiling with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than plaster, ceiling installation becomes easier and it is applied safely together with the chandelier hanger.
