Classical Facade Design

Classical facade design is the planning of a building's exterior according to classical architectural principles; surrounds, mouldings, cornices, columns, arches and brackets are positioned on the facade based on symmetry, proportion and order. Windows and doors are framed with surrounds, facade lines are divided with mouldings, and the entrance is emphasized with columns and arches. The elements used in the design are mould-cast from exterior-grade polyurethane; the material is lightweight and fixed to the surface with adhesive and dowels. It resists moisture, frost and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted with exterior facade paint.
