Polyurethane Short Roman Column and Decorative Pedestal

The P84000D is a decorative short column model that blends the aesthetic lines of classical Roman architecture with modern polyurethane technology. Designed to create a vertical decorative accent in both interior designs and building facades, its compact dimensions allow you to showcase the noble stance of classical architecture even in tight spaces.

Measuring 278 mm in width, 278 mm in depth, and 1070 mm in height, this product serves as an ideal pedestal or short support column. Its rigid structure, with a density of 150-200 kg/m³, offers strength comparable to wood while remaining exceptionally lightweight. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, it has a water absorption rate of less than one percent. This prevents the product from being affected by moisture, rain, and frost, allowing it to maintain its shape for many years even in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C.

The visual design features striking, symmetrical vertical fluting along the column shaft. The stepped square base at the bottom and the balanced capital design at the top beautifully capture the characteristic proportions of the Roman order. Its smooth surface finish and sharp lines create a play of light and shadow, adding depth to any space where it is installed.

Its applications are highly versatile. It can be used as a door-side pilaster at villa entrances, a decorative pedestal for planters or busts in spacious living rooms and hotel lobbies, a partition column element in restaurants, or an elegant architectural feature in garden landscaping. Thanks to its lightweight nature, it can be safely installed on suspended ceilings or areas with low floor load capacity. It also serves as an aesthetic backdrop element in themed venues such as wedding halls, exhibition spaces, and photography studios.

During installation, Polure Polfix adhesive should be applied to the cleaned surface, followed by mechanical fastening with screws. Unlike plaster alternatives that are sensitive to impacts, or wood which is prone to insect infestation, this polyurethane product offers long-term ease of maintenance. Once joints and screw holes are filled and sanded, a seamless look is achieved. For painting, water-based or synthetic paints can be easily applied. Although the factory-applied primer makes the surface ready for painting, applying an additional primer is entirely optional based on the paint manufacturer's warranty terms. When used outdoors, the use of UV-resistant paint is mandatory.
