Technical Material Specifications and Durability

Manufactured from high-density (150-200 kg/m³) rigid polyurethane, these products offer a surface hardness comparable to wood while avoiding any unnecessary static load on the building. Thanks to the closed-cell structure of the material, the water absorption rate is below 1%. This prevents rotting, swelling, or molding, even in highly humid environments. Maintaining its dimensional stability in temperature fluctuations ranging from -20°C to +80°C, this polymer structure will not crack or shrink. In terms of fire safety, it exhibits self-extinguishing properties once the flame source is removed.

• Vs. Plaster (Gypsum): Plaster decorations are extremely fragile and heavy. Our rigid polymer material offers high impact resistance and does not break during transport or installation.
• Vs. Wood: Wood can warp over time due to moisture and is susceptible to insect infestation. This modern material is completely moisture-resistant and rot-proof.
• Vs. EPS Foam: EPS foam materials lack impact resistance and cannot deliver sharp details. With a density of 150-200 kg/m³, these products flawlessly capture even the finest carved motifs.

Surface Preparation and Painting Guidelines

The products are delivered with a factory-applied primer coat designed to enhance topcoat adhesion. However, please note that paint manufacturers typically do not guarantee paint performance unless their own primers are used. Therefore, applying an additional primer before the topcoat is entirely optional and at the customer's discretion. Polure does not provide any warranty or assume liability for the performance or durability of the paints used. For exterior applications, UV-resistant paints must be used to protect the material from sun damage.
