Roman column

A Roman column is a polyurethane decorative column inspired by the column orders of Roman architecture, consisting of a shaft, capital and base. It is used in living rooms, entrance halls, facades and garden structures to create a classic column appearance or to clad an existing column. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Being far lighter than stone or plaster columns, it is easy to carry and quick to install, and is unaffected by moisture outdoors. The shaft is usually installed as two half pieces wrapped around the column. Polure manufactures Roman columns in a range of diameter and height options.
