Designed to create elegant wall divisions, enrich paneling projects, and bring classic architectural details into interiors, the P82060 rose-patterned wall profile stands out with its high-density structure. Commonly preferred for chair rail applications that divide walls horizontally or along ceiling transition lines, this product adds depth and a rich sense of volume to any space.
The product is manufactured from rigid polyurethane raw material with a density of 150-200 kg/m³. While offering the impact resistance and hardness of wood, it is remarkably lightweight, making installation exceptionally easy. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is below 1%, making it completely resistant to moisture, water, and decay. Furthermore, it remains unaffected by temperature fluctuations between -20°C and +80°C, retaining its shape for years without shrinking, expanding, or cracking.
Its visual design features embossed rosebuds, leaves, and vine motifs running continuously along the profile. The clean, straight lines at the top and bottom frame the dense central rose relief, making the patterns appear more prominent and three-dimensional. With a height of 10 cm and a thickness of 1.7 cm, this 244 cm standard-length profile offers a seamless look with minimal joints on wide wall surfaces.
Its applications are highly versatile. It is frequently preferred in classic living rooms, luxury hotel lobbies, restaurants, and as headboard accent frames in bedrooms. Thanks to its waterproof nature, it can be safely used in humid areas like bathrooms and kitchens. It can also be utilized as exterior floor moldings or under-window trims; however, for outdoor applications, painting with a UV-resistant paint is mandatory to protect against sunlight.
Standing out with its shatterproof and non-crumbling structure compared to plaster alternatives, this polyurethane profile does not swell over time due to moisture like MDF or wood. For installation, after making 45-degree miter cuts on a clean surface, Polure Polfix adhesive should be applied, followed by mechanical fastening with screws. The factory-primed surface comes ready for the final topcoat; however, an additional primer coat may be optionally applied to meet paint manufacturers' warranty requirements.
- This decorative rose-patterned border has a wide range of applications for both interiors and suitable exterior surfaces
- Indoors, it is perfect for creating a horizontal dado line (chair rail) that divides walls in living rooms, dining rooms, and hallways
- You can achieve a balanced decor by using flat panels on the lower section and wallpaper or contrasting paint on the upper section
- In bedrooms, it can be used to create large frames behind the bed to highlight the headboard
- On exteriors, it serves as a horizontal floor band, adding classical movement to the building
- Thanks to its complete water and moisture resistance, it can also be safely positioned as a decorative border above baseboards on bathroom walls
- The wall surface to be applied must be dry, clean, and level
- The borders are cut at a 45-degree angle using a miter saw to ensure perfect corner joints
- Polure Polfix adhesive, which provides strong adhesion, is applied in strips to the back of the profile, and then it is pressed onto the wall
- Mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory to prevent heavy or long pieces from slipping
- Joints and screw heads are filled with acrylic putty, and once dry, smoothed with 180-220 grit sandpaper
- An additional primer coat can optionally be applied to the factory-primed surface based on the paint manufacturer's recommendation, followed by at least two coats of water-based or synthetic paint to complete the process
- Maintaining polyurethane borders is extremely practical
- Using a microfiber or damp cloth is sufficient for dusting
- Abrasive and harsh chemical cleaners, acidic substances, or thinners should not be used to clean the surface motifs
- For outdoor applications, the paint should be checked periodically depending on its lifespan and renewed if necessary
- In case of any impacts or scratches, the damaged area can easily be filled with putty, sanded, and repainted locally
