The Polure 2P8143A33 carved panel is a unique decorative element crafted to create surfaces with depth and shadow in your interior and exterior projects. Its symmetrical carved details, elegant central leaf motif, and crowning circular curves integrate to present some of the finest examples of classical architecture. With a thickness of 31 mm, it creates a distinct three-dimensional effect on the surface. Its dimensions of 301 mm width and 330 mm height allow it to be easily used both as a standalone focal point and in repetitive modular designs.
This decorative product is manufactured from high-tech, rigid polyurethane raw material with a density of 150-200 kg/m³. This structural material, possessing a hardness similar to wood, absolutely does not absorb water or moisture due to its closed-cell structure. Unlike fragile plaster, it does not rot, crack, or suffer from insect infestation over time like wood. Furthermore, it maintains its dimensional stability during temperature changes ranging from -20°C to +80°C, preventing deformations such as expansion or warping.
The product's surface quality is presented with a factory-applied primer coating to facilitate the paint preparation process before installation. However, for final paint applications, an additional primer application is entirely optional and at the customer's discretion, as paint manufacturers do not guarantee applications made without their own primers. Polure does not accept responsibility for the performance and durability of the paints used. Since unpainted products may yellow under sunlight, the use of UV-resistant paints is mandatory, especially for exterior applications.
This versatile carved piece is preferred as a decorative motif for in-frame embellishments on living room walls, behind headboards, on TV units, and furniture doors. On exterior facades, it can be positioned as a unique detail in window pediment decorations or between floor moldings. Its extreme lightness compared to plaster counterparts provides significant safety and ease of application for ceiling and high wall installations.
For installation, Polure Polfix adhesive should first be applied to a clean, dry surface. Mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory for secure installation of the product. After screw holes and joints are covered with appropriate putty, the surface should be smoothed with 180-220 grit sandpaper, and then the process completed with an optional primer and two coats of paint.
- This decorative carved panel, with its versatile structure, has a wide range of applications in both interior and exterior spaces
- Indoors, it can be positioned as a focal motif at the center of classic paneling (boiserie) projects applied on living room walls
- In bedrooms, it can be used as an elegant wall panel behind headboards, or as a three-dimensional decorative element on furniture doors, dressers, and door surfaces
- On exterior facades, it can be utilized in window pediment decorations, between floor moldings, or under eaves as a decorative console/corbel complement
- Especially with hidden LED lighting applications behind it, the light seeping through the carved openings creates a deep play of shadows in the spaces
- Ensure the application surface is clean, dry, and smooth
- Apply Polure Polfix adhesive to the back surface of the panel and press it firmly onto the surface
- To support the product's weight and ensure permanent fastening, mechanical fastening with screws at appropriate points is absolutely essential
- Cover screw heads and any joints with acrylic putty
- Once the putty dries, smooth the surface with 180-220 grit sandpaper
- Optionally apply an additional primer, then complete the installation by painting with at least two coats of water-based or synthetic paint
- For outdoor applications, the use of UV-resistant paint is mandatory
- The Poliüretan carved panel is extremely easy to maintain due to its closed-cell structure, which provides full resistance to water and moisture
- A damp cloth or a soft sponge is sufficient to clean dust and dirt accumulated on the surface
- Abrasive chemicals and harsh cleaning materials should not be used during cleaning
- Any damage that may occur on the surface due to impact can be easily repaired by applying putty, sanding, and local painting to restore its original appearance
