The dining room in the image presents a modern aesthetic built upon the soft transitions of natural light and the serene harmony of neutral tones. Light filtering through large windows accentuates the geometric arrangement on the matte white walls, creating a warm contrast with the oak-textured flooring and furniture. The main element defining the room's architectural character is the symmetrical frame structure created on the wall. This structure adds a classic nobility to the room, balanced by modern furniture choices, creating a timeless atmosphere.
For the wall decoration, Polure's polyurethane molding profile with code (P85008), featuring straight and clean lines, was chosen. Applied in large rectangular forms, these wall molding and flat wall molding elements transform a standard wall surface into a three-dimensional work of art with depth. Thanks to their high-density polyurethane structure, these moldings offer superior resistance to impacts while their smooth surface finish supports the premium perception of the space. Painting the moldings the same color as the wall enhances the 'ton-sur-ton' effect of the decoration, ensuring a visually harmonious continuity.
These decorative elements produced by Polure are pre-cast in the factory using precast technology, ensuring high form precision. Thanks to CNC-controlled cutting processes, corner joints align precisely at a 45-degree angle, guaranteeing a flawless appearance, especially in large frame applications. Problems such as cracking or flaking over time, common with plaster moldings, are avoided in this space due to the flexible and stable nature of polyurethane, and the installation process is clean and fast.
If you are planning a design for a similar villa or apartment, you can revise the frame proportions according to your ceiling height. If your ceiling is above 2.80 meters, segmented molding designs that leave smaller square panels at the bottom can be preferred instead of large-scale single frames as seen in the image. To make this space more dramatic, you can increase the perception of depth by painting the inside of the molding frames a shade darker than the wall color, or enrich the lighting scheme by adding decorative wall sconces inside the frames.
Vertical rectangular molding forms were used in the space to make the ceiling appear higher than it is. The monochromatic approach in the color palette highlights the play of shadows on the polyurethane moldings, creating a textural richness. The golden details of the lighting fixture create a luxurious focal point on the matte wall surfaces, while the use of symmetry perfects spatial balance. The continuity in material selection has created a design language where minimalism merges with modern comfort.
