Decorative Polyurethane Molding Corner Designs

The P85002C polyurethane molding corner is designed to create seamless, elegant transitions at the intersections of wall and ceiling frames. While effortlessly concealing miter cut imperfections at corner joints, it infuses spaces with the refined elegance of classical architecture. By breaking up flat molding lines, it adds depth and visual richness to wall panels, mirror frames, and ceiling borders.

Measuring 160x160 mm with a depth of 27 mm, this corner piece provides a perfectly balanced proportion for medium to large-scale wall paneling. It is crafted from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), offering a hardness comparable to wood. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, it is suitable for humid conditions and highly resistant to rot. Unlike fragile plaster, it is highly impact-resistant and will not crack over time.

The visual design features striking fan-like embossed leaf motifs at the corner, complemented by symmetrical, sweeping curves extending outward. The finely detailed relief carvings capture the essence of classical European architecture. These sharp, crisp details remain prominent even after painting, creating a captivating three-dimensional effect on wall surfaces through the interplay of light and shadow.

Highly versatile, this corner piece is widely preferred for wall paneling designs in residential interiors like living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms, as well as commercial spaces including hotel lobbies, restaurants, and offices. Assess water and moisture exposure using the product technical data, surface finish and installation details. Additionally, when protected with appropriate exterior paints, it serves as a decorative corner element for window and door surrounds on building facades.

For installation, the surface must be clean and dry. Apply Polure Polfix adhesive to the back of the profile, mount it, and secure it mechanically with screws for a lasting hold. The product comes factory-primed and ready for the final coat of paint. Since paint manufacturers may not guarantee applications without their own primers, applying an additional primer coat is optional. For exterior applications, a UV-resistant paint must be used to prevent yellowing.
