This visual showcases the step-by-step transformation of high-density polyurethane into a natural wood texture at the Polure manufacturing facilities. The first frame highlights the shaping phase of a raw block resembling a solid log, emphasizing the material's excellent workability in a sunlit workshop. In the second panel, a specialized thermal treatment (blowtorch technique) is applied to accentuate the grain pattern, creating a highly realistic charred wood (shou sugi ban) effect. Thanks to the thermal resistance of polyurethane, this technique adds deep character to the surface while fully preserving its structural integrity.

The primary product featured, the polyurethane faux wood beam (P1981D), perfectly mimics a heavy, solid oak or pine log from the outside, yet features a hollow 'U-profile' design that makes it incredibly lightweight. This geometric form allows the product to serve not only as a decorative ceiling element but also as an ideal architectural solution to conceal exposed pipes, wiring, or structural steel beams. With a density of approximately 20-25 kg/m³, these precast elements reduce installation time by up to 70% compared to traditional timber.

Advanced molding and CNC-assisted detailing techniques ensure that each beam possesses a unique, organic grain pattern. Thanks to the precast manufacturing method, products are shipped ready-to-install, eliminating dusty and labor-intensive carpentry work on-site. Polyurethane's fully waterproof and moisture-resistant nature ensures these beams retain their shape for years, even in high-humidity environments like bathrooms, kitchens, or spa areas.

For rustic and loft designs, these polyurethane beams can be finished in dark walnut or aged oak tones and paired with stone wall panels. In modern spaces, integrating LED strips inside the hollow profile turns them into both a decorative ceiling feature and an indirect lighting source. Especially in high-ceiling villa living rooms or restaurant projects, these lightweight PU solutions offer the safest, most aesthetic alternative to avoid adding tons of static load to the building structure.

Design Details

This image clearly demonstrates the engineering triumph of balancing visual mass with physical lightness. The hollow U-profile cross-section minimizes static load while providing a generous surface area for effortless installation. The application of thermal treatment proves that this material is not a mere imitation, but a product with an artistic finish. The play of light and shadow across the textured surface enhances the perception of depth, reinforcing its realism. The natural brown tones and charred effects in the color palette are masterfully designed to bring organic warmth to any space.
