The living room pictured is built on a serene palette of mink and gray, offering a perfect synthesis of modern minimalism and classical details. Soft ceiling lighting highlights the three-dimensional texture created by the polyurethane panels on the walls, while creating a peaceful and spacious atmosphere in the room. The balance between the traditionally patterned rug on the floor and modern furniture forms supports the timeless character of the space.
A hierarchical panel structure was created on the walls of the space using profiles coded P85002, P85003, P85008, P85010, P85015, and P85016, selected from Polure's high-density product range. Smaller square panels at the bottom (P85403, P85406) combine with vertical and long rectangular sections at the top to optically increase the ceiling height. Skirting and border details coded P851350 smoothly complete the transitions on the wall surface, while the flat wall molding application provides sharp and clear lines.
All decorative elements in this design are produced with Polure's special 'precast polyurethane' technology. The precast production technique ensures that each profile is cast in the factory with millimetric precision and offers a perfect fit at the assembly site. In this way, problems such as cracking or crumbling experienced in plaster applications are avoided. Its impact-resistant structure guarantees long-lasting aesthetics, especially in heavily used living areas.
For users who want to achieve a similar look, it is recommended to paint the walls and moldings with the same matte paint; this preserves the integrity of the space. If a more dramatic effect is desired, the inner parts of the moldings can be painted a shade darker to increase depth. In such large wall applications, creating focal points with sconces or paintings (such as inside P85008 frames) will take the design to a professional level.
Design Details
The success of the space stems from balancing vertical axes with horizontal furniture lines. The double framing technique on the walls translates the classic 'boiserie' style into a modern language, while the use of neutral colors ensures a homogeneous distribution of light on the surfaces. In terms of material contrast, a visual dialogue has been established between the hard polyurethane lines and the soft texture of pampas grass and textiles. Proportionally, the lower skirting and upper panel ratios are divided adhering to the golden ratio rules, which creates a striking sense of balance.
